Thursday, March 24

Karen is not feeling quite as good today, but she did make an entire lap walking around this floor...her longest walk yet. She is also a bit frustrated. It is 5:30pm and she has been waiting all day to go to dialysis. It takes 3 hours once they start so it will be well into the evening at best before she gets back to the room and can go to sleep.

Now that she is in a regular room, she enjoyed the opportunity to see our grandbabies! (Livy and Maya Wednesday and Kessler Thursday). This brightened her days.

I'm glad the grandkids made her smile!!! :) :) Sometimes hospitals can be so aggravating... But let's think they were taking care of someone else that was sicker than Karen and needed them more today (probably not the case but what we would like to think!!!) Hopefully Karen will rest well after the dialysis tonight. Love ya'll ~~~Gayle

Grandbabies will always brighten a grandparents day. This is good Karen got to see them. I'm sure she was missing them as much as they were missing her. This is good medicine also.
Again we hope she continues to grow stronger each and everyday.
