Karen is really doing well! She has been sitting up in the chair all morning and just took a walk and made a complete lap around this floor in the hospital and did great. I am so proud of how she is pushing herself! The people here at Johns Hopkins have been so very nice and so extremely competent all the way from top to bottom. It has been a great experience and I highly recommended it.
Our donor is not feeling good at all so please keep her in your prayers.

Fabulous News... Glad that Karen is doing so well. Prayers that your donor feels better very soon. She is a very special person!!!!
Have a great afternoon. Thanks for the update.
Rusty, that is great news! give her a kiss from me, will you? I saw that you had checked your email so I know you had a chance to read my comment last night. I hope you were able to share it with Karen today. When I read the scripture again, I am so amazed at how perfect it was for this situations! and how much those extra 3 verses meant!
I don't know if I even mentioned that Dennis and I have moved to Atlanta! but yes, we have as of the 1st of Feb. Already had lot's of oppty to stay with the grand girls. I am so glad we are here! how far away are ya'll from your grandchild? Do you get to see him often when Karen is well? I hope for her sake that you do. I know she was looking forward to grandchildren.
I can't wait to tell my BSF new friends how God has answered our prayers for Karen. Please continue to keep us posted. love Cindy
So happy that everything has gone so wonderfully. I can't even imagine a person being able to be alert so quickly after an organ transplant much less sitting up and walking around. Karen must be an incredible trooper. Hope your donor will be feeling much better soon. Keep the updates coming.
